BREAKING: £80m Arsenal target has agreed IMMINENT premier league transfer to London club, Medical scheduled after full agreement- His agent met Edu and Arteta last week
Arsenal have made a revised offer for Shakhtar Donetsk forward Mykhailo Mudryk following further talks on Thursday.
The Gunners’ last proposal was around £45m plus add-ons up to £62m for the 22-year-old.
But the restructured proposal is understood to be around £62m plus bonuses. The key for Shakhtar is that they wanted more up front than the last £45m offered – and while their ideal is £80m, they are expected to accept slightly less.
The high-profile January transfer target has been spotted deep in conversation with Shakhtar Donetsk chief Darijo Srna this week as talks escalate between the two clubs.
The 22-year-old Arsenal target has also drawn interest from Chelsea as talks drag on, despite the forward repeatedly making it clear that he would prefer a move to the Gunners on his social media accounts.
In fact, on Thursday Mudryk posted a bold picture on his Instagram story – showing him wearing an Arsenal shirt.
The post seemed to show the sought-after wonderkid mocked up in a Gunners shirt with someone holding a piece of paper with ‘Mykhailo Mudryk’ written on it, in an ‘Welcome to Arsenal’ video with a compilation of his skills.
