Arsenal officials are reportedly set to fly out to Turkey next week to discuss the potential signing of Fenerbahce fullback Ferdi Kadioglu.
The 24-year-old Turkish international has caught the eye for both club and country this season, with Mikel Arteta’s side impressed with what they have seen from Kadioglu in recent weeks.
And with the north London side now suffering a left-back injury crisis, a new signing is expected to be made, and it appears Arsenal have turned their attention to Kadioglu.
According to Sabah, the Gunners will send officials out to Istanbul next week to discuss a potential transfer for Kadioglu, with Fenerbahce demanding as much as €30m (£25m) for the defender.
As per the report, the Turkish side are eager to keep hold of Kadioglu this month, though interest and financial power from Arsenal could be too great for Fenerbahce to turn down.
Indeed, the north London side clearly need a left-back if they’re to get their Premier League title bid back on track, and Kadioglu could be a good addition to the squad if Arsenal can reach an agreement.

Kadioglu is cleary a player Arsenal rate highly if officials are now due to fly out to Istanbul to meet with Fenerbahce over the defender.
Yet whilst a left-back is needed, it won’t be long before Arsenal have a plethora of options in the position, with Oleksandr Zinchenko, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Jurrien Timber all due to return in the coming months.
As a result, splashing £25m on a player who might only feature a handful of times for Arsenal might be viewed as a waste of funds for some supporters.
Moreover, attack also needs some additions this window, and fans will love to see Arsenal go big on a new forward rather than a potential fourth-choice left-back.
