Manchester United

BREAKING: Fabrizio Romano has just confirmed Man United already submitted an offer of £55M for ‘outstanding’ superstar who will be Man united first signing of the transfer window – Player was spotted at the Airport tonight ahead of a move to Carrington

Manchester are seemingly prepared to weaken their fullback positions in order to strengthen the central defense this summer.

As per reports in the media, Man Utd are ready to offer £17million-rated Aaron Wan-Bissaka to sign £55million-rated Crystal Palace star, Marc Guehi.

According to an exclusive story covered by TEAMTalk, the Red Devils do not want to pay a fee of over £50million to lure the Eagles star, therefore, they are willing to offer Wan-Bissaka in exchange to cut the cost.

The 26-year-old right back, had an injury hit campaign last term but when fit, he regularly started for United under the management of Erik ten Hag and even did well in the left back role when needed.

AWB made 30 appearances in all competitions and played for full 90 minutes in the FA Cup final victory against Manchester City.

As per reports in Turkey, Galatasaray want to sign Wan-Bissaka and are hoping that his market value of around £17million (20 million euros) would drop.

On the other hand, Guehi missed over two months of action due to a knee injury last season, but returned to fitness in May and made 23 appearances in the Premier League.

His current contract with the Selhurst Park side will expire in two years, and he is valued at around £55million (The Times).

The 23-year-old is in Germany at the moment for the European Championships and he was rock solid in the central defense as England went on to beat Serbia 1-0 in the opening group game.

In the 2023-24 season, Ten Hag’s men conceded their highest number of goals ever in a single PL campaign and hence, a complete overhaul at the back is required this summer.

Wan-Bissaka is not world class but he proved to be important last term and selling him without an adequate replacement for the position would not be the right decision.

Have your say – Should Man Utd send the defender back to Palace to sign Marc Guehi
