Arsenal will travel to Asia for their pre-season tour this summer, with games against AC Milan, Newcastle, and Tottenham set to take place in Singapore and Hong Kong.

The Gunners have prepared for each of the last three campaigns in the United States, but finally have a couple of different destinations this summer.

Singapore and Hong Kong welcome Arsenal, with Mikel Arteta’s squad expected to fly out to the former in mid-July.

The North Londoners take on Milan at the National Stadium on July 23rd, before facing Newcastle at the same ground a few days later.

They then travel north-east to Hong Kong to face rivals Tottenham on July 31st, in what will be the first ever North London Derby played away from English soil.

With only Ethan Nwaneri currently still playing football, Arsenal should be able to bring a full squad to Asia, and this roster could include several new signings and academy prospects

Which Arsenal players will be on the pre-season tour?
Every senior Arsenal player should be on the plane in mid-July, barring the injured Takehiro Tomiyasu and Gabriel Jesus, although there are question marks surrounding a few players.

Jurrien Timber is recovering from ankle surgery, while Gabriel Magalhaes is in rehabilitation following a serious hamstring injury.

Both players could miss part of pre-season, although they are still likely to travel with the squad for the tour.

Meanwhile, Thomas Partey is now expected to leave Arsenal, so it’s a fair bet to make in a squad prediction that he won’t be included.

There are also question marks over the futures of Jakub Kiwior, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Reiss Nelson, although nothing appears imminent on any of these fronts, and thus, all three could be included on the initial trip to Southeast Asia.

The likes of Albert Sambi Lokonga and Fabio Vieira, and potentially Karl Hein, are expected to stay at home as the North London club look to find them new clubs.

Which new Arsenal signings could be on the pre-season tour?
Martin Zubimendi is expected to sign from Real Sociedad, with the deal set to be announced in early July.

The Spaniard will therefore be on the plane to Asia and could make his debut against Milan.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is also close to signing for Arsenal, and thus, it can safely be assumed that he will be involved.

Aside from that, nothing is imminent on the incoming front for the Gunners, although they could easily have one or two more deals done by the time they jet off.

Arsenal are eager to sign a striker in time for pre-season, and Benjamin Sesko appears to be the most likely acquisition at the time of writing.

Meanwhile, the Gunners will need a replacement for Partey if the Ghanaian goes, and the most prominently linked midfielder is Sevilla’s Lucien Agoume.

Agoume is said to be available for less than £17 million, with Sevilla in need of selling the player due to their financial situation, meaning this could be a quick and convenient deal for the Gunners to get done before pre-season.

Which Arsenal academy prospects could be on the pre-season tour?
Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly broke through into the Arsenal first team last season after successful pre-seasons, and several other youngsters will be looking to replicate this in 2025.

The aforementioned duo will travel again, while Tommy Setford is likely to be involved as the Gunners’ third choice goalkeeper.

Josh Nichols travelled to the US last summer, and could be involved again, particularly if Timber is unavailable.

The Gunners may need an additional centre-back with them, and 18-year-old Will Sweet appears to be the closest to the first team.

Meanwhile, Max Dowman is expected to be named in the squad, while Michal Rosiak is set to be offered a new contract and was involved last year, so he’s likely to be again.
