BREAKING: Man united have just entered talks to sign “world class” £322k per week player who is a very great upgrade to Marcus Rashford and is 10 times better than better than Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus- Interest confirmed- Here we go soon!
On Thursday, a report from Italy surprised a lot of people when it was claimed that Atalanta would want €90m for Rasmus Højlund while Manchester United were preparing a €70m offer.
That seemed like the Serie A side being greedy for a player who has only scored nine league goals since his arrival from Sturm Graz last season, but that hasn’t stopped Paris Saint-Germain from being interested either.
This comes courtesy of L’Equipe, who make it clear the Ligue 1 side are providing tough competition for Manchester United.
Their transfer guru, Luis Campos, has been following the youngster for ‘a few seasons’, and has started talks with the player’s entourage a few weeks ago.
That was a move to try and get ahead of the competition, which include Manchester United, described as ‘doubting their ability of meeting’ the demands set by Atalanta.
L’Equipe explain that any club wanting the striker will need to go beyond €60m, which Paris Saint-Germain could put on the table once they sell a few more players.
