Arsenal have reportedly made contact to sign Brazilian youngster Breno Bidon, and are considering making an offer, according to TNT Sports in Brazil.
The Gunners invested significantly in the summer transfer window, bringing in players to help fill out Mikel Arteta’s squad. Arsenal now have some of the best strength in depth in the whole of Europe, which has led to them topping the Premier League so far this season.
After bringing in senior reinforcements of late, attention could now turn to acquiring some of the best young talent from around the world, finding players with high sell-on value and vast potential. It’s arguable that Arsenal don’t need any immediate additions for their senior squad, so bringing in young players for the future could be a smart move.
Arsenal Make Contact for Young Brazilian

According to a report from TNT Sports in Brazil, Arsenal have made contact with the representatives of Corinthians youngster Bidon ahead of a possible move. It’s claimed that the Gunners are considering making an offer for the midfielder, but they are yet to present a bid to the Brazilian outfit.
Labelled the ‘Brazilian Pedri’, Bidon is already a regular for the Corinthians senior squad, despite being just 20 years old. He’s made a total of 62 appearances in the Brazilian top flight, while also representing his country 11 times at U20 level.
Whether Bidon could arrive at the Emirates Stadium and make an immediate impact remains to be seen, but he would likely be a signing for the future rather than the present. Bidon recently played a crucial role in helping Corinthians lift the Copa do Brasil, so he’s certainly capable of playing at senior level.
