BREAKING NEWS: Garnacho to Chelsea Almost done,Mbeumo incoming,Saudi bid for Bruno Fernandez”, Latest on Man United deals as Club demands Maguire Plus £100m cash for the hottest striker in Europe

Manchester United are planning to offload a significant number of players this summer due to the lack of European football next season, according to The Telegraph.

United finished outside the European qualification places in the Premier League and missed the opportunity to qualify for the Champions League after losing to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.

Failure to qualify for Europe has forced United to take a ruthless approach. A major clear-out is necessary to reduce the wage bill and generate funds for new signings.

Forwards Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford are expected to be among the high-profile departures.

The proceeds from their sales would count as pure profit for Man United under the Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) guidelines.

United valued Garnacho at £65 million earlier this month and hope to attract a suitable buyer for the Argentine star.

Chelsea, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, and Napoli have all been linked with him, but no concrete negotiations have occurred regarding his signature.

Rashford impressed during his loan spell at Aston Villa and is reportedly keen on a move to Barcelona.

United value him at £40m, but whether the Spanish champions can afford his fee remains to be seen.

Antony, Jadon Sancho, and Tyrell Malacia are also poised to leave the club.

While United plan to cut costs by selling players, they also intend to strengthen the squad with quality signings.

Having struggled to score goals in the league this season, bolstering the attack is a top priority.

Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Matheus Cunha could be the club’s first summer signing. The Brazilian forward has agreed to a five-year deal with United.

The Red Devils are also in the market for a new striker. Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap appears to be their top target, with a move for Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyokeres now ‘almost off the table.’

Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo is also on their radar, and United have reportedly held talks with the Cameroonian over a potential transfer.
