Michael Carrick’s side will hope to bounce back from dropped points against AFC Bournemouth last time out and boost their hopes of securing Champions League qualification. United currently sit third in the league table, one point ahead of Aston Villa and with a six-point advantage over Liverpool in fifth position.

Bryan Mbeumo – 13 April vs Leeds (H)

Mbeumo withdrew from international duty as a ‘precaution’. He played 71 minutes of the recent draw with Bournemouth and should be fit enough to start after the current international break.

Benjamin Sesko – 13 April vs Leeds (H)

Sesko also missed international duty due to an ongoing issue that is being carefully managed. He has scored eight goals in his last 11 matches and should be fit for the return to club action.

Noussair Mazraoui – 13 April vs Leeds (H)

Mazraoui missed the draw with Bournemouth due to illness but has featured for Morocco during the international break. He will be available to face Leeds this month.

Lisandro Martinez – 13 April vs Leeds (H)

Martinez has missed the last five matches due to injury but Michael Carrick expects to have him back for the Leeds match. His return would be timely given Harry Maguire is suspended for it.

Patrick Dorgu – 27 April vs Brentford (H)

Dorgu was initially ruled out until the March international break when he suffered a hamstring injury in the victory over Arsenal. He could be back against Leeds but is expected to be eased back into action later in the month.

Matthijs De Ligt – 3 May vs Liverpool (H)

De Ligt has been sidelined for over four months with a back injury and it is not clear when he will be available again. Michael Carrick is adamant he will be available again before the end of the season.
