Manchester United entertain Bournemouth in Monday’s Premier League clash at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils returned to winning ways with a convincing 4-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium this week.
The club are just one point behind the Champions League places and could jump into the top four with a victory over Andoni Iraola’s side.
Ahead of the game, manager Ruben Amorim was posed several questions. One of those was focused on Mason Mount’s importance to his playing style.
The Portuguese tactician said that Mount is a ‘really smart’ player, and believes his passing and reception provide a good balance on the playing field.
He told Manutd.com: “I think it’s hard to make that connection. It is a fact, but it’s not just that. We have to look at the way the game was. But he is a very, very smart player.
“He is really technical, because sometimes to be a technical player, it is not just having fun with the ball.

“It is the quality of the pass, the reception, how to receive the ball and in these things, he is really smart. He can balance our team quite well. So he is a very good player.”
Mount has managed less than 600 minutes in the league this season. He has still impressed with three goals, and has netted in his last two starts for the club.
The Englishman has also excelled with his positioning and recoveries in the final third. He looks poised to start on Monday, considering his good scoring run of late.
Mount should line up alongside Bryan Mbeumo in the attacking midfield department against the Cherries, with Matheus Cunha leading the line instead of Joshua Zirkzee.
Benjamin Sesko returned to working on the grass this week, but has suffered from some food poisoning. He could still make the squad with two more training sessions left.
Sesko is likely to be eased back into first-team action. The Slovenian could be restricted to cameo roles first to build up his fitness before returning to the starting line-up upfront.
Meanwhile, United have dropped five costly points in the last two home games against Everton and West Ham United. They must capitalise this time around with a victory.
The Red Devils will be eyeing their first win over Bournemouth in five attempts.
