BREAKING NEWS: He was earlier ruled out but the the doctor told me this morning that He’s fit and ready to play tomorrow”, Mikel Arteta confirmed the availability of ONE injured Arsenal key player against Tottenham tomorrow

Arsenal have been handed a timely injury boost ahead of the north London derby against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Gunners are unbeaten in the last 11 games in all competitions and will aim to extend the streak against their fierce rivals at the Emirates Stadium.

Ahead of the encounter, the club have been handed a big boost on the injury front with captain Martin Odegaard back in full team training.

The Norwegian has not featured for the Gunners since the first week of October when he picked up a medial collateral ligament knee injury against West Ham United.

The 26-year-old has been out of action for club and country for almost seven weeks, but looks set to be involved in the matchday squad against Spurs, as per The Sun.

Odegaard could make a cameo derby appearance
The Gunners skipper has had three freak injuries this season. He twice fell on his shoulder before a clash of knees against West Ham, which has contributed to his recent absence.

Odegaard has finally returned to team training, as per reports. The Norwegian naturally has excellent fitness levels, and we won’t be surprised if he makes the matchday squad on Sunday.

Still, Eberechi Eze is pretty much guaranteed to start in the number 10 role against Spurs. Odegaard could be restricted to a 20-minute cameo at best, given he may not be up to full speed.

His return is still a big boost for the Gunners. The £30 million signing has the knack for creating key chances and brings the best out of Bukayo Saka with the link-up play on the right flank.

Gabriel Jesus has likewise returned to full training with the squad, but he appears doubtful for the derby, given he has been out of the game for 11 months with a serious knee injury.

The Gunners could handle him with extra caution. He may not return to the pitch until December.
