BREAKING: PSG wants Man United’s important star player who is part of Ten Hag’s plan for the future after confirming Kylian Mbappe departure today- Bid could be submitted soon and United will have a BIG decision to make

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Omari Forson is poised to leave Manchester United in the coming days.

There has been plenty of speculation regarding the future of Forson, who is contracted to the club until the end of the current month.

In January, Forson made his bow for the United first team when he came off the bench to replace Marcus Rashford during stoppage time in a 2-0 away win over Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup final.

On that occasion, Forson became the 249th player to have progressed from the Red Devils’ prestigious Carrington academy into the men’s senior squad.

Before that, the 19-year-old took part in United’s pre-season campaign and played a part in the match against French outfit RC Lens at Old Trafford.

In the just-concluded 2023/24 season, he made just four Premier League appearances or 68 minutes of top-flight football. He managed one assist in that time.

United made efforts to retain Forson and secure his long-term future but the forward repeatedly rejected the club’s contract offers.

A previous report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that talks remained ongoing between United and Forson’s camp but it seems like they were unproductive, according to an update provided by Romano.

The Italian journalist wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “Omari Forson, set to leave Manchester United as free agent in June.”

“After his debut in February with Man Utd first team, Omari’s set for new chapter.”

“There are several clubs already keen on signing Forson, as 19-year-old striker is attracting interest.”

As mentioned by Romano, Forson is unlikely to be short of suitors. Newcastle were once mentioned to be keen on adding him to their ranks at St James’ Park.

The likes of PSG and Michael Carrick’s Middlesbrough were also mentioned as parties weighing up a move for him.
