‘Changed the whole dynamic’: Emile Smith Rowe in awe of two Arsenal teammates
Arsenal playmaker Emile Smith Rowe has praised his Gunners teammate Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko.
Smith Rowe, who can operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder, has told The Athletic that Jesus and Zinchenko have “just changed the whole dynamic” at Arsenal.
The England international has noted that the Brazil international striker and the Ukraine international, who can operate as a left-back or as a midfielder, have given Arsenal a winning mentality.
Jesus joined Arsenal from defending Premier League champions Manchester City in the summer of 2022, and so did Zinchenko.
Mikel Arteta’s side are now at the top of the Premier League table.

Smith Rowe said: “The mentality (is different) now. From pre-season I could see on everyone’s faces how ready they all were. Zinchenko and Jesus just changed the whole dynamic. They’ve been there before, they know what it’s like to win.”
BIG PLAYERS FOR ARSENAL
In our view, Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko are two big and hugely important players for Arsenal.
While Jesus was on the sidelines for several weeks during the season, the Brazilian star is integral to the way Arsenal play upfront and will be crucial for the Gunners in their quest to win the Premier League title this season.
And the way Zinchenko can move from left-back to midfield has made the Gunners more intricate in which they play under Arteta now.
