Chelsea interested in signing Gabriel Martinelli despite Arsenal’s desire to renew his contract.
The transfer window is still months away from now but clubs have started preparing for it.
Chelsea are now reported to be interested in an Arsenal youngster.
The summer transfer window closed one month ago but clubs in the Premier League have already begun preparing for the winter transfer window since its just one month away if you exclude the 30 days of the upcoming World Cup.
A report has now claimed that Chelsea are interested in Arsenal youngster Gabriel Martinelli who has been impressive for the gunners this season.
Gabriel Martinelli has scored three goals this season in the Premier League and has established himself as the first choice left winger despite many having doubted the 21 year old some time back.
Gabriel Martinelli has attracted interest from Arsenal’s arch rivals Chelsea as per The Metro thanks to his impressive form and the gunners are reportedly just not just sitting by as they will apparently also try to tie him down to a new deal.
The current contract of Gabriel Martinelli would see him leave the Emirates Stadium in 2025 but he is on low wages of £50,000 a week which might look small when compared to the salary that other young promising players of other big six sides are receiving.
Arsenal will obviously feel calm despite these reports as they are currently the best club in the Premier League as per the table and Gabriel Martinelli has always shown to be really happy at the Emirates Stadium.
It will be interesting to see what happens when the transfer window reopens in January but what’s for sure is that Arsenal would request a hefty fee to even think about letting go of Martinelli.
