Manchester United may finally end up selling Scott McTominay this summer as they look to improve their midfield by signing Manuel Ugarte.
The Red Devils rejected a bid worth £30million from West Ham last year and now, the CM is wanted by Galatasaray.
As per today’s edition of MEN, the Turkish champions are confident about signing the Scottish international, who is valued at around £25m by the Old Trafford club.
It is stated that Ugarte has agreed to join Man Utd after securing a contract agreement and his arrival would push McTominay and even Casemiro towards the exit door.
The 27-year-old was the top scoring central midfielder for Erik Ten Hag last term as he found the net 10 times in all competitions.
However, keeping in view that the contract will expire in less than a year, United need to cash in on him.
Having already secured the signings of Yoro and Zirkzee, the Red Devils do need to raise funds for further arrivals
We have already offloaded Mason Greenwood to French club, Marseille, and it will not come as any surprise to also see McTominay leave this summer.
As far as Ugarte is concerned, reports have indicated that the Uruguayan international is close to Man Utd, who have to pay a fee of around £58.8m (70 million euros) to get the deal done.
