CONFIRMED TEAM NEWS: ARSENAL V TOTTENHAM XI IN NORTH LONDON DERBY 1
Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur will face each other at the Emirates Stadium in the North London derby this afternoon.
Arsenal will head into the Premier League game against Tottenham on the back of a 3-0 victory over Brentford away from home in the London derby.
The Gunners are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 18 points from seven matches, a point ahead of defending English champions Manchester City.
Meanwhile, Tottenham currently find themselves third in the Premier League table with 17 points from seven games, only a point behind leaders and bitter North London rivals Arsenal.
Antonio Conte’s side will head into the match against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on the back of a 6-2 hammering of Leicester City at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the league.
Tottenham’s performances have not been particularly great, but they are getting results and are very much in contention of a top-four finish in the league table this season.
The Gunners’ displays have been better than Tottenham so far this season, but today the result will matter more than the performance.
