- According to Ben Jacobs, who told Football Transfers via HITC Sport, the Ukraine international is already speaking to Oleksandr Zinchenko about a transfer to Arsenal.
The Gunners have already had one offer rejected for the £70 million-rated winger but they look poised to keep plugging away.
Mudryk has dropped a series of hints about his affection for Arsenal, including continuously posting Instagram screenshots of him watching Mikel Arteta’s side in action.
And according to Jacobs, speaking to Give Me Sport, the 21-year-old attacker is already a Gooner, as some of his teammates at Shakhtar Donetsk have joked.
He said: “Arsenal is his dream. Arsenal is the club he has been watching. Arsenal is the club that his teammates are joking he’s already joined.”

At this point, it would be a surprise if the blonde-haired assassin didn’t wind up joining Arteta’s side, yes.
That being said, January is a notoriously difficult window in which to do business.
And who knows, if Arsenal don’t meet Shakhtar’s valuation then it is entirely possible that it’ll have to wait until the summer, at which point other clubs may be a lot more interested, too.
