Deal close – Manchester United set to secure £30,000 a week star signing this week after personal terms was agreed yesterday

Manchester United are seriously looking to improve their goal keeping department even after splashing a lot of cash to lure Andre Onana.

The future of second choice shot stopper, Dean Henderson, at Old Trafford is uncertain and to replace him, the Red Devils have already moved to sign Altay Bayindir.

According to multiple reports going on in the media, Man Utd are close to securing the signing of the Turkish international this summer.

According to The Mail, the Old Trafford outfit are close to sealing a deal worth £4.25million to hire the services of the 25-year-old.

The British outlet have mentioned that Henderson is lined up to join Crystal Palace before next week’s transfer deadline and Bayindir is targeted to replace him.

The £30,000 a week star featured in 40 games in all competitions for Fenerbahce last season and helped the team keep 14 clean sheets.

However, he spent the last two months of the campaign on the treatment table due to a hip injury.

United want to ensure he is completely fit and therefore, he underwent tests and as per Spanish source, AS, he has passed the medical examination.

In the current campaign, so far, Bayindir has made four appearances for Fenerbahce, kept two clean sheets but he was on the bench in their last two fixtures which could be an indication that he is set to leave.

He made his senior international debut for Turkey in 2021 and thus far, he has made five appearances for his country.

In your view, should Man Utd secure the signing of Altay Bayindir?
