Manchester United

Deal imminent – Manchester Unitrd now raise offer over £44.5million to secure dream signing – official announcement to follow up soon

As per today’s version of Libero, the Cameroonian international is just a step away from moving to Old Trafford.

The renowned Italian media outlet have mentioned that Man Utd have now raised the offer to 52 million euros including bonuses (£44.5million), getting closer to the requested fee of 60 million euros.

After the latest offer, the sale of Onana is no longer only probable, ‘it is also imminent’.

The funds received from his sale will be used by Inter Milan to lure Trubin, Sommer, Lukaku and a midfielder.

The African shot stopper has already agreed personal terms of a contract with the 20-time English champions.

Moreover, Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the deal is very close and Man Utd want the player to travel to America for the pre-season tour.

Onana was arguably the best goal keeper in the last season’s UEFA Champions League and even in the losing final vs Manchester City, he put in a fantastic performance.

The 27-year-old is all set to replace David De Gea at Old Trafford. The Spanish international won a record four Matt Busby Player of the Year awards and even kept the highest number of clean sheets last season.

However, Erik ten Hag sees Onana as better fit in the way he wants Man Utd to play than the La Roja goalie.
