DONE DEAL: Man United splashes £71.5M to sign £203,000-a-week star on a five-years transfer deal
Manchester United splashed around £110m to strengthen the frontline by signing Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee in the last two summer windows.
Unfortunately, the Dane hasn’t been able to showcase his productivity in front of the goal in the Premier League, moreover, the Dutchman has had a tough start to his life in the English top-flight.
As a result, the Red Devils have found it difficult to score goals this season. Now, TEAMtalk state that Ruben Amorim wants more options in the No.9 position and has started pressing to lure Paris Saint-Germain’s Randal Kolo Muani for Manchester United.
The French forward is surplus to requirements at the Parc des Princes, so they are ready to sell him in January.
However, hiring him won’t be easy for United as other Premier League clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also keen on purchasing him by taking advantage of his current situation.
Kolo Muani, who currently earns around £203,000-a-week at the French capital, has started only two games in all competitions for PSG this term and wasn’t even in the squad in the last two games.
The 26-year-old is a versatile pacy center forward, who can also play on either flank. He started only 13 times in Ligue 1 last term, scored six goals and registered five assists.
The recent struggles of Kolo Muani raise questions on whether he would be the right option for Man Utd to resolve the goal-scoring issues.
