Don’t join Arsenal,They have players that will bench you join Newcastle instead’: Former Man united star Paul Pogba advices His £50m teammate to snub Arsenal and join Newcastle instead In January if He wants to revive His career
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is keen on having the 23-year-old Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic in his ranks.
According to a report by Football Transfers, Arsenal are keen on acquiring the services of Dusan Vlahovic. The 23-year-old striker has been on their radar for quite a few years and he is Mikel Arteta’s priority target for the number nine position. As a result, they could make a move for his services in the near future.
Vlahovic came through the ranks at Partizan before joining Fiorentina in the summer of 2018. After proving himself in the Italian top flight, he joined Juventus in the winter of 2022. But, the 23-year-old hasn’t had the best of times since arriving at the club.
While he has put in a few impressive performances, the Serbian international hasn’t been as consistent as they expected him to be. Despite not being at his best, there is still a lot of interest in Vlahovic’s services.
He might have a contract with the Italian club that runs until the summer of 2026 but the 23-year-old could still be on the move in the near future. According to the report, Juventus tried to offer Vlahovic to Chelsea in a swap deal for Romelu Lukaku in the summer. They wanted to cash in on the striker and demanded an additional €40 million from the Blues.
While the deal might not have gone through, it does indicate the Old Lady’s willingness to sell if they receive the right offer. Arsenal could be the club that goes all out for the services of the Serbian international.
The Gunners have been following him for a while now. They wanted to sign him back in the winter of 2022 but he rejected the offer to stay in Italy and ended up singing for Juventus. Despite having failed back then, Mikel Arteta is keen on having him in his ranks.
The Spanish manager is a huge admirer of the 23-year-old and wants him to be his new number nine. As a result, they could push for him if the opportunity presented itself. While Gabriel Jesus has been a great signing for the club, he has had his fitness issues and Arteta wants a more out-and-out striker. As a result, the Gunners could soon make a move but they will have to ensure they put forward a significant offer that makes Juventus think.
