Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal will hold further talks today over signing Mykhailo Mudryk from Shakhtar Donetsk in the January transfer window.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has claimed that in the next few hours, Arsenal will hold direct talks with Ukrainian Premier League club Shakhtar to get a deal for Mudryk done.
Romano has added that the Ukraine international winger has already agreed personal terms with Arsenal.
The Italian journalist has claimed that the Gunners are trying to get a deal wrapped up as soon as possible.

In our view, Arsenal fans should be excited by the update from Fabrizio Romano on winger Mykhailo Mudryk.
The Gunners are clearly doing their best to get a deal done for the 22-year-old winger as quickly as they can.
Now, of course, Shakhtar are in no hurry and will want to make as much money as they possibly can.
However, we think that it is only a matter of time before Arsenal and Shakhtar come to an agreement.
