Manchester United

EXCLUSIVE – Man united 90% closer to completing United transfer deal as United board have agreed to seal move for €50m rated Portuguese star who has played for Real Madrid

Manchester United remain heavily linked with Goncalo Inacio but Sporting will do everything to hold on to him in January.

Earlier this month, we covered a story via CdM claiming the Red Devils are pushing to sign the defender, who will likely leave in the winter transfer window.

More recently, reports have indicated that Inacio knows Man Utd are ready to sign him but he wants to stay.

According to a story published by O Jogo today (press image provided below), manager Ruben Amorin, does not want to lose his key players in the January transfer window.

Diomande is on the radar of Newcastle United but he will only be sold if the 80 million euros clause is activated and currently, the star defender is at AFCON.

On the other hand, Inacio’s deal includes a release clause of 60 million euros (£51.5m) and the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool have ‘growing interest’ in securing his signature.

Even La Liga leaders, Real Madrid, are interested in luring him but this month, the Lions, who are currently on top of the Liga Nos stable, do not want to sell anyone.

It is stated that Inacio knows Man Utd and other clubs want to sign him but he is willing to fight for the titles for Sporting CP.

Ten Hag’s men have already conceded 29 goals in the Premier League this season, conceded two last night vs Spurs and are the only team in the top 10 with a negative GD.

Hence, if defense is not improved in winter, then Man Utd, who are 7th at the moment, may find themselves in a worse position come May.
