Lazio have reportedly set an asking price of just €40m (£35m) for star midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, with Arsenal interested in the Serbian international.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Serie A side have dramatically lowered their asking price for the 27-year-old talisman despite being ‘one of the best in the world’ in his position, with Milinkovic-Savic’s contract due to expire in the next 18 months.
The Lazio star is regarded by many as one of the best midfielders in world football and a talent who could thrive at any club, and Milinkovic-Savic’s new reported asking price could put a lot of clubs on high alert, especially the likes of Arsenal.
Corriere dello Sport recently reported that Arsenal are fans of the Serbian and could launch a move in the summer to bring Milinkovic-Savic to north London, with the Gunners’ looking for a central midfielder ahead of their return to the UEFA Champions League next season.
