Gabriel Jesus aims to keep being Liverpool’s nemesis and prevent Arsenal from losing to Liverpool at Emirates.

Arsenal host Liverpool on Sunday in the Premier League as they hope to maintain their place at the top of the table.

The Gunners have won seven of their eight games so far and come up against Jurgen Klopp’s side who will want to kick start their season.

Top scorer Gabriel Jesus will likely lead the line at the Emirates and he boasts a great scoring record against the Reds.

The Brazilian has been involved in six goals in his eight games against Liverpool, scoring four and creating two.

All four of his goals have come in home games and he’ll be keen to increase that number in north London at the weekend.

Arsenal have only won one of their last 14 meetings with Liverpool, last winning in July 2020 and losing their last four.

Mikel Arteta’s Gunners, though, have never lost five successive league games against the Reds and Jesus will be out to prevent this from happening by keeping up his record.

For Klopp, his team have made a disappointing start to the season and currently sit in ninth place, only winning twice so far.

Liverpool will be looking for their first away win of the season on Sunday.

The Reds come into this match off of back-to-back draws in the league but with their superb record against Arsenal, this could be the game that kicks off their campaign.

However, Liverpool are yet to win away from home this season and with the Gunners unbeaten at the Emirates it is set to be a tough task.

In fact, in all they have scored 25 goals, conceded nine and kept four clean sheets.

They haven’t lost their first four away games in the Premier League since Roy Hodgson was in charge more than ten years ago.

With Jesus dancing through defenders this season and the Reds’ looking to claim their first away win, Sunday’s game is likely to be a thriller.
