Gabriel Jesus and Saka Scored as Arsenal beat Everton 2-0
Gabriel Jesus and Bukayo Saka were on the scoresheet for Arsenal in their 2-0 friendly win over Everton.
The recently acquired Gabriel Jesus wasted notime in showing his presence in his first game for Arsenal, opening the scoring in a 2-0 win over Everton in Baltimore, Maryland on Saturday.
Brazilian striker Jesus, signed from Manchester City for around £45 million ($54 million) earlier this month, has been a hit with his tenure atArsenal with two goals coming in substitute in a friendly match against Germany from Nuremberg.
The match between Premier League rivals before 39,245 fans at M&T Bank Stadium, home of the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens, was his first game since his move to Arsenal to see him reunite with coach Mikel Arteta, who was previously Pep Guardiola’s assistant at Man City before taking charge at Emirates Stadium.

He opened the scoring in the 33rd minute when Martin Odegaard cornered his way through a sea of bodies to find him.
After a dominating touchdown, Jesus knocked the ball into the net in front of a group of Everton players.
Three minutes later, Bukayo Saka doubled the score, finishing in the far corner of the goal.
The first half saw big changes from both teams – including a brand new number 11 for Everton from Frank Lampard.
The changes didn’t create sparks, however, and the Toffees rarely threatened Arsenal goalkeeper Matt Turner, newcomer from Major League Soccer’s New England Revolution.
His best save came from a long shot from Salomon Rondon, whose attempt to catch Turner off goal was thwarted when the American swung back and deflected the ball.
Both teams’ early preparations for the Premier League season on August 5 continue in the United States, with Everton next against MLS’Minnesota United in Minneapolis.
Arsenal will face MLS’s Orlando City and Premier League rivals Chelsea in Florida.
