‘Go and get him, enough is enough we’re tired of losing everyday’: Gabriel Agbonlahor tells Man United board to get 44-year-old manager to replace Ten Hag as soon as possible
Following a difficult few months, Gabriel Agbonlahor now seems convinced that Manchester United should be replacing Erik ten Hag.
As well as dropping out of the Champions League this week, United have also been faltering domestically.
And although some believe that the problems at the club extend well beyond the managerial staff, they do seem to be under increasing pressure.
And when speaking on talkSPORT this morning, Agbonlahor had made his mind up on who United should be targeting to replace ten Hag.
The pundit wasn’t convinced that Graham Potter was the man for the job and had another idea instead.
Agbonlahor said: “He [Potter] failed at Chelsea, he doesn’t deserve his next club after failing at Chelsea to be Manchester United.
“What does that say about Manchester United? I understand what you’re saying, should they go for someone and say, ’you know what Brighton, how much for [Roberto] De Zerbi? We’re going to go and get him
“Villa did that with Unai Emery, they went and said how much compensation, went and paid it and got him out of there. That’s what big clubs do.”

Of course, many United fans may agree with Agbonlahor’s view, that the club should be as ambitious as possible.
However, there will also still be those that believe that there’s no benefit to jumping ship on ten Hag’s project just yet.
The club have invested a lot of money and time into ten Hag’s vision, including signings that seem very specific to the manager.
For example, few other managers would be so convinced to spend £82m on lesser-known Antony from Ajax.
And Jaap Stam certainly thinks that move was actually a mistake, a player who isn’t at the required level for United.
If a new manager like Roberto De Zerbi was to come in, United would again have to be patient as a new era began – he’s clearly not going to enjoy an environment as ideal as he has at Brighton Hove Albion.
However, if United were to part ways with ten Hag then Agbonlahor’s suggestion could certainly be an astute one.
