There has been speculation that West Ham United want to sign Smith Rowe in a deal involving Declan Rice going to Arsenal.
Arsenal are keen on signing England international midfielder Rice in the summer transfer window, and the Hammers want Smith Rowe in a deal, according to The Sun.
Smith Rowe said: “Arsenal are my club and I’m not going to give up until [Arteta] says he doesn’t want me.
“But that’s not the case. He wants me as part of the team and I want to fight for my place and get back in the team.”
Emile Smith Rowe should stay at Arsenal
In our view, Emile Smith Rowe should stay at Arsenal and fight for his place, at least for one more season.
The 22-year-old has come through the Arsenal academy and is hugely popular among the fans.
The England international did extremely well for the Gunners before his injury.
Smith Rowe struggled to get into the team last season.
The Arsenal no. 10 made 12 substitute appearances in the Premier League, one substitute appearance in the UEFA Europa League, and one substitute appearance in the FA Cup.
We believe that the attacker could get back to his best after a full pre-season under Arteta.
