Alan Smith has praised Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard on Sky Sports Premier League (9:20pm, November 12, 2022) for his performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers away from home at Molineux Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
The former Arsenal star and Sky Sports pundit was impressed by the display produced by Odegaard in the Gunners’ win against Wolves this evening.
The 23-year-old Norway international playmaker scored two goals for Arsenal against the Wanderers.
Odegaard found the target first in the 55th minute and then on 75 minutes.
And Smith, who was on co-commentary duty for the match on Sky Sports, was impressed.

Smith said in the 75th minute after Odegaard’s second goal: “Well, he wears the captain’s armband and he has produced a captain’s performance in terms of his goals just when they needed them, Arsenal.”

In our view, Martin Odegaard was very good for Arsenal against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League this evening.
The former Real Madrid player scored two lovely goals, and his overall display was also very encouraging.
The Arsenal no. 8 is becoming an important source of goals for the Gunners now, and the Emirates Stadium faithful must be loving it.
The win against Wolves means that Arsenal are now as many as five points clear of second-placed and defending champions Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
Arsenal could well go to win the title this season.
