Liverpool and Manchester City have also been linked with Neves, who plays as a central defensive midfielder for Benfica but can also operate on the right of midfield.

Talks between Partey and Juventus have reportedly already taken place, so if Arsenal decide to let the former Atletico Madrid star leave, then Neves could be his replacement.
