It is advantage Arsenal in their race to sign a high-pedigree Real Madrid transfer target. According to a report from Caught Offside, Arsenal have made contact with Antonio Silva from Benfica. It is believed that the Real Madrid transfer target values a move to the Premier League, with Liverpool and Manchester United also making contact, alongside Arsenal.

The report claims that while Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are also eager to sway Antonio Silva away from his Premier League vision, the problem faced is that most of the clubs in the race do not wish to meet the €100m demand set out by Silva’s current club Benfica.
