William Saliba has lauded Gabriel Magalhaes and explained how the centre-back has helped him a lot during his time in the first-team at Arsenal.
Saliba was speaking on Amazon Prime Sport after what has been another outstanding start to the campaign for the Frenchman, and the Gunners.
William Saliba continues on his trajectory towards becoming the best centre-back in the Premier League. In fact, it is hard to argue with those who believe that he is already there. Certainly, Arsenal fans would be forgiven for wondering what would have happened had he not got injured towards the end of last season.

But of course, it is just as important that Mikel Arteta pairs him with the right player. And for the large majority of his time at the Emirates, Saliba has played alongside Gabriel.
Gabriel does not grab as many headlines as the Frenchman. But he is definitely a stalwart. And he has barely missed a game in the Premier League over the last couple of years.
And when asked about the Brazilian, Saliba hinted that he would not be the player he is without Gabriel playing alongside him.
“He’s a really, really good leader. He helps me a lot. We are so happy together. I hope we keep going like this,” he told Amazon Prime Sport.
Very bright future ahead for Arsenal
It is ominous for Arsenal’s title rivals that Gabriel is the senior partner of the pairing. And the £23 million man only turns 26 next month. His best years are still ahead of him.
That is a frightening thought when you consider that Saliba is just 22. And yet, he is already one of the best in his position around.
The level the pair could reach together is scary. But that is largely the situation across the pitch, with Arsenal boasting so many players with so much potential.
