He is the best among the best,His moves with the ball’ still amaze me’: Manchester United star Marcus Rashford Says Arsenal has ONE player who might become Greatest of all time if He continues with His form
Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has taken to Instagram to react after leaving the England camp following the international games for this month.
The Gunners star was an unused substitute in the 2024 European Championship qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia as his Everton counterpart Jordan Pickford manned the goal for both games.
Nevertheless, Ramsdale enjoyed his time in the Three Lions camp with his international teammates and was pleased as they secured a berth in next summer’s tournament.
The Arsenal goalie took to social media to share his feelings, and Manchester United attacker Rashford took to the comments section to react.
Ramsdale will be desperate to force his way into the England starting XI ahead of Euro 2024 but he needs to first get back into the starting XI at the North London club to have any chance of doing that.
He will be in goal when Arsenal visit the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday to take on Brentford as the on-loan David Raya is ineligible to face his parent club.
Whether Ramsdale can do enough to retain the starting berth afterwards remains to be seen as manager Mikel Arteta appears to have made his Spanish counterpart the first-choice in the position following his summer arrival.
Ramsdale has not started for Arsenal in the Premier League since their 3-1 win over Manchester United at the start of September, only appearing in the Carabao Cup games against Brentford and West Ham United since then.
The 25-year-old will feel he now has a great opportunity to force his way back into the starting XI despite shipping eight goals in seven appearances in all competitions for Arsenal so far this season.
Raya has let in nine goals in 12 games for the Gunners but has appeared shaky at times.
Arsenal host Lens in the Champions League group stages after this weekend before playing three Premier League games in a week against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Luton Town and Aston Villa.
