So, what has Manchester United defender Luke Shaw said about Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka? Let’s take a look.
Manchester United star Luke Shaw comments on Arsenal ace Bukayo Saka
Well, Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw has been speaking about Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka.
Shaw plays with Saka for England, and the United left-back has said he looks forward to meeting up with the 22-year-old Arsenal winger.
The 28-year-old, who has been on the books of United since 2024, has outlined what makes Saka a very special guy, noting that he makes everyone around him happy and is always smiling.
When asked the player he looks most forward to on international duty, Shaw said on Sky Sports News (1:29 pm, February 10, 2024): “Saks (Saka).
“If you ask that question to everyone from England, everyone would say the same thing, I think. He is just the best guy ever. You know, I love him.”
When asked what makes Saka so great, Shaw responded: “I don’t know. It’s just so hard to explain. You can’t not like him.
“He makes everyone smile, he makes everyone happy, everything about him is brilliant. His parents have obviously done a very good job of raising someone like that. I think, honestly, he is one of the best people in football, I think.”
My View: Bukayo Saka perfect role model for a footballer
In my opinion, Arsenal and England international winger Bukayo Saka is the perfect role model for how a footballer should be on the pitch.
I do not subscribe to the idea that footballers are role models for kids, but for how they should be on the pitch, Saka is the perfect example.
The winger always plays with a smile on his face and does not crumble under pressure.
Even when Saka gets rough treatment, he gets up and does his best. The Arsenal winger does not moan. He just gets on with it.
Saka is also one of the best young wingers in the Premier League and is a regular in the Arsenal team. He has scored 39 goals and given 33 assists in 157 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
