Manchester United legend Paul Scholes was following the London derby for Premier League Productions, and he was surprised by the delivery of Rice, admitting that he did not know that the 25-year-old had that in his game.
Scholes said on Premier League Productions at half time: “Declan Rice’s delivery has surprised me a little bit, it’s been some fantastic balls in and that’s not something I knew he had in his locker. Set pieces have been where West Ham have really struggled.”
