Manchester United are plotting a shock swap deal to sign Brazilian international, Raphinha, from Barcelona.
A few days back, we covered a story from Spain stating that Barca are ready to offer the £68million-rated Samba star plus cash to sign Mainoo from the Red Devils.
More recently, it has been reported that Man Utd are ready to offer Sancho to the Blaugrana to sign Raphinha in the summer transfer window.
The England international was loaned out to Dortmund in the middle of the last season after his relationship with manager, Erik ten Hag, completely broke down.
The Dutch manager is now set to stay at Old Trafford and hence, there might be no future for Sancho, who helped BvB reach the final of the UEFA Champions League.
According to Catalan source, Nacional, Dortmund want to permanently sign the 24-year-old but he is valued at £40million and the German Bundesliga side cannot afford to pay the fee.
In such a scenario, Man Utd have offered Sancho to Barca in exchange of Raphinha. The Nou Camp outfit want to offload the South American.
The 27-year-old star played an important role for Barcelona in their 2022-23 La Liga winning campaign.
However, the emergence of Lamine Yamal on the right flank has forced Raphinha to warm the bench and he only started 17 games in the league last term.
Still, in all competitions, he managed to directly contribute in more than 20 goals for Xavi and in all fairness, he has the quality to reinforce the weak right wing position at Old Trafford.
In your opinion, should Man Utd replace Sancho with Raphinha?
