Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to sign Matheus Cunha with Arsenal and Leeds United on the verge of missing out on the striker.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano, who has taken to Twitter to claim that Cunha is on the verge of joining Wolves.
Romano claims that a verbal agreement is now in place between Atletico and Wolves with personal terms also agreed.
Cunha will join Wolves on loan with an obligation to buy worth up to €50million (£43.5million).
A medical is now being sorted out with Cunha getting ready to make Molineux his new home.

This news is absolutely what Wolves needed in order to boost their faltering attack.
Cunha may have only started two league games this season and hasn’t scored a La Liga goal this term but his history with Hertha Berlin makes this an exciting deal.
The 23-year-old has been a wanted man in recent weeks and news of Wolves striking a deal will be a blow to them.
Goal Brasil report that Leeds United have been holding talks to try and sign Cunha.
Marcelo Bielsa was very keen on Cunha during his time in charge of Leeds and it appears that the Whites are still interested in the Brazilian.
Patrick Bamford’s injury record remains a big concern and Leeds need another source of goals if they can’t rely on Bamford.
That report added that Arsenal were studying Cunha very closely as they considered signing him after the injury to compatriot Gabriel Jesus.
Jesus is out for around three months and Arsenal have been considering options to bolster their attack in his absence, with Cunha’s availability particularly interesting.
Wolves have been the favourites throughout though and now appear to have landed their man well in advance of the January window.
