HERE WE GO Kylian Mbappe to Man United is a Done deal Already as player have now accept personal terms to join Man united
Paris Saint-Germain apparently ‘know’ that Manchester United will lodge a bid for Kylian Mbappe, and they’re among a few sides they feel are in that position.
After six seasons with PSG, it looks as if Mbappe might finally be leaving the Parc des Princes. While there’s always interest in him, the chances of him leaving either this summer or next seem genuine.
Next summer he’ll be able to move for nothing, as his contract is up. He told his employers not long ago that he’d made the decision not to stay beyond then.
A few weeks down the line, PSG put him up for sale. That might have stunted any plans Real Madrid had for the striker – he’d apparently agreed to join them at the conclusion of his deal next summer.
But that he’s now on the market means Real might have a lot of competition, and may have to buy him rather than get him for nothing. Among those interested are Al Hilal, Manchester United, Arsenal and even Tottenham.
That United will move for Mbappe is apparently a sure thing. Indeed, Spanish outlet Marca reports PSG ‘know’ the Red Devils will bid for the forward this summer.
The report puts them alongside the likes of Chelsea and AC Milan in that respect. This is a further hindrance on Real’s plans to secure Mbappe’s services for nothing next summer.
It may even be an attempt to pressure them to act now so that PSG can ensure they receive a hefty fee, rather than chancing the fact that one of the other sides will actually buy him.
On the other hand, they may just believe that other sides such as United are genuinely interested and want to sign Mbappe. It remains to be seen how true that is.
United are on the hunt for a star forward, having been linked with Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen, Dusan Vlahovis and now Rasmus Hojlund this summer.
But that they were recently preparing a bid of £35-40million for Hojlund when Atalanta want somewhere in the range of £70-86million suggests they might not be able to afford somebody that will command the type of fee Mbappe will
It’s suggested PSG would want £100million for him, even with just a year left on his deal, so he might well be too expensive, but the answer to that question may come soon.
