HERE WE GO: Man united set to complete their long awaited transfer target tomorrow after making sales today,Player have already signed paperwork, confirmed
Having signed three top quality players this summer in the form of Mason Mount, Andre Onana and Rasmus Hojlund, Erik ten Hag, still wants to further reinforce the squad before next month’s deadline.
However, to bring a new face, the Dutch manager first needs to offload squad players to raise the funds.
If reports in the media are anything to go by then Man Utd prepare to raise £51.5m (60 million euros) from the sale of players and then invest around £30.1m to secure the signing of Amrabat.
In an interview with Labaro Viola, renowned Italian journalist, Alfredo Pedulla, stated:
“United are closing a couple of sales to advance the offer for Amrabat that the Red Devils are waiting for. If United sell Van de Beek, Fred, Maguire or McTominay it is possible that they could collect those 50-60 million to define Amrabat.”
“What I know for sure is that Amrabat has the deal on the engagement. Now they have to fold, if they can get 60 million from the disposals, they will invest 30-35 million for the Moroccan midfielder.”
Netherlands international, Donny van de Beek, is heavily linked with a move to La Liga side, Real Sociedad.
West Ham United have agreed a deal to sign Harry Maguire and are also interested in signing Scott McTominay (The Athletic).
On the other hand, Turkish champions, Galatasaray are negotiating to hire the services of Brazilian international, Fred from Old Trafford (The Mail).
The above mentioned rarely started in the last campaign and it is not surprising they have been put up for sale.
There is no urgent need to sign a defensive midfielder at the moment with Casemiro around but let’s hope the deal for Amrabat can be done before the closure of the summer transfer window.
