Here we Go – Man united set to complete their top transfer target today as agent is now spotted with player at Old Trafford
Manchester United and Inter Milan are set to announce the transfer of Cameroonian international, Andre Onana, very soon.
As per today’s version of La Gazzetta Dello Sport (news image provided below), Onana’s move to Man Utd is ‘now a fact’.
The Italian news source have mentioned that the announcement of a sale of over 50 million euros (£42.8m+) will arrive ‘today or at the latest tomorrow’.
Knowing that the Nerazzurri will have the funds from their goal keeper’s transfer, the Serie A giants decisively moved to agree a fee with Chelsea for Lukaku.
Inter Milan offered 35 million euros in fixed fee and 5 million euros in bonuses to seal the agreement with the Blues for the former Manchester United center forward.
As per Alfredo Pedulla, Onana will clear his lockers to get ready for his new adventure at Old Trafford under the guidance of Erik ten Hag.
The 27-year-old won every single domestic major trophy in the Netherlands under the current Man Utd boss and proved to be an instant hit in Italy last season.
David De Gea was a loyal servant for the Red Devils but he is past his best and a change was needed. Ten Hag should be lauded for this brave step of securing a new shot stopper.
The Old Trafford faithful are waiting for an official announcement for the signing of Andre Onana. Let’s hope it arrives today.
