HERE WE GO: Manchester United finally complete the signing of £70m superstar, agreement reached last night, Medical currently ongoing – announcement to be done today
Manchester United are intent on completing the signing of Leny Yoro from Lille and have submitted an offer to turn the player’s head.
Initially, it was reported that the player will even wait to run down his contract to move to Real Madrid as he does not want to join United.
Now, the latest reports indicate that the Red Devils have moved in with a bid to meet the demands of Lille and now, the player is not even sure which club he wants to join.
According to L’Equipe, Man Utd have tabled a bid worth £53million plus bonuses (63 million euros) to meet the asking fee of the Ligue 1 side to sign Yoro.
The renowned French source have mentioned that the 18-year-old starlet would prefer to move to Real Madrid.
However, the Los Blancos are in no rush at all to improve their central defense and have made a very low offer of 20 million euros.
The above mentioned bid from the European Champions is deemed way too low and is a huge concern for Yoro, who has already told Lille that he wants to leave.
“Leny Yoro still doesn’t know what colours he’ll be playing for next season and he’s not even sure which ones he wants to join.”
The teenager expected Real Madrid to make an effort but they do not seem serious and that could help United, who are determined to get the deal over the line.
Paris Saint-Germain also have Yoro on the radar but for now, Man Utd and Real Madrid are the main contenders in the race and only the Premier League side are pushing to seal the signing.
We shall see how the transfer saga unfolds and will keep you updated.
