Manchester United have been heavily linked with Manuel Ugarte and reports have even indicated that the Uruguayan is close to moving to Old Trafford.
As per a story covered by Record (news image provided below), the Red Devils have approached PSG for the signing of the South American play breaker and the French champions are ready to agree a fee of £50.4m (60 million euros) to sell the midfielder.
Last summer, the Ligue 1 giants paid £50.4m to lure the player from Sporting CP and now want the same fee from his sale.
The famous Portuguese media outlet claim PSG want to use the funds from Ugarte’s sale to sign his replacement in the form of Joao Neves.
Paris Saint-Germain are preparing to submit an offer of around 75 million euros to secure the defensive midfielder from Benfica.
However, as per Record, the Eagles would only allow their prized asset to leave the Estadio da Luz if his release clause of 120 million euros is activated.
As per today’s version of O Jogo, Neves wants to move to the Parisian club.
