‘He’s done it’: Campbell says Arsenal ace has now earned the label of ‘world class’

Speaking on the Highbury Squad YouTube channel, Kevin Campbell has been discussing Bukayo Saka and his place in the footballing pantheon after the World Cup.

The winger has long been touted as a player with a lot of promise, but now, he’s truly delivering on the potential that he has shown.

He was one of England’s best players at the World Cup, and according to Campbell, his performances in Qatar have now earned him the right to be called world class.

SAKA IS WORLD CLASS

Campbell hailed the Arsenal youngster.

“Is Saka world-class? Me personally I said he’s a young player who needs experience, but he’s world class. He’s done it in a World Cup. The manager picks him, he performs, the manager leaves him out and even when Rashsford scores two, he brings him back in. That tells you something. He’s in the Team of the Tournament as a 21-year-old, he’s world class,” Campbell said.

UNDOUBTEDLY

Campbell is spot on, Saka is world class, and he didn’t need the World Cup to prove that.

His performances for Arsenal over the past 12 months have been utterly spellbinding. He’s matured into a top class player and he is widely recognised as one of the best footballers in the Premier League nowadays.

Saka is genuinely one of the most talented English footballers around, and he may have to be considered as the best player in the world right now who has never played Champions League football.

The attacker belongs in the conversation among the very best in the world, and the scary thing is that he still has a lot of room to improve.

Arsenal are incredibly lucky to have Saka, and with over a decade at the top level ahead of him, he could be an Arsenal legend in the making.
