However, Laura Woods has backed her beloved Arsenal to topple Manchester City, as he explains the logic her prediction.
“We can’t take a draw. I think the minute we say ‘we’ll take a draw’, that’s it, you might as well say game over. You have to go there and try and win. We have a terrible record there but perhaps playing as the underdogs might be a little bit of an advantage to us”, she said on talkSPORT.
“William Saliba is such a huge, huge miss and they are incredibly stacked on the bench. Man City are an amazing team and more importantly, this is something that they have done year in, year out as in chase down the league or keep hold of a league, press a turbo button and just win, win, win.”
Laura Woods has continued to go in-depth in her prediction about Arsenal beating Manchester City, saying, “They’re an absolute juggernaut and the fact that we’re keeping up with them, the fact that we’ve managed to put ourselves in that position in the first place is amazing.”
“If we fall away the way we’re doing now and don’t win it, I will be absolutely gutted. I’ll be devastated, because this was an amazing opportunity. But I don’t think it’s the end of Arsenal. I think this is the beginning.”
