“I have played with some greatest players in football history but that particular Man United’s player is the best I’ve ever seen and that’s why I left the Club… He’s to young but damm, he’s so good and that’s why Erik ten Hag banished me”: Scott McTominay finally names ONE player as the reason Erik ten Hag banished him from the Club
Paul Pogba has shared his thoughts on Manchester United terminating Sir Alex Ferguson’s contract with an interesting take.
Ferguson is to step down from his Man United ambassadorial role at the end of the season.
It is claimed that the decision was made amicably in a face-to-face meeting.
But the legendary manager has been ‘banned’ from doing one thing at the club where he won 13 league titles, among other trophies.
INEOS’ decision to axe the 82-year-old has angered the likes of Rio Ferdinand and Eric Cantona, who called out his old side on social media.
Pogba, who played under Ferguson during his first Man United spell, has also touched on the situation as he spoke to several outlets ahead of returning to football.
He reckons fans and critics alike are talking about the financial aspect too much as he insists the Scot will always be at Man United.
“Does it change what he has done for the club? The only thing I hear is that he won’t get paid anymore. Sir Alex Ferguson will still be Sir Alex Ferguson. He is still in their history and will be forever,” he explained.
“The only thing I hear is the money! He is Sir Alex Ferguson, a legend and always will be at Man United.”
