Arsenal

I have tried my best to make Him happy here at EMIRATE but it seems things are not going well with Him’: Arteta have finally made up his mind to let £50m key player leave in January after falling out of place with Arteta

Kris Boyd has given his verdict on the future of Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale.

The former Rangers striker and Sky Sports pundit has predicted what Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is going to do with Ramsdale.

So, what has Kris Boyd said about Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale? Let’s take a look.

Arsenal tipped to sell Aaron Ramsdale
Well, according to former Rangers and Scotland international striker Kris Boyd, Arsenal will move on Aaron Ramsdale.

The Sky Sports pundit has noted that David Raya is the number one goalkeeper for Arsenal now.

Boyd has said that Ramsdale simply cannot sit on the bench given his quality and his status as an England international.

Raya is on loan at Arsenal from Brentford at the moment, but there is speculation that the Gunners are going to make the loan deal permanent.

Arsenal are aiming to win the Premier League title this season and are also looking to make an impact in the UEFA Champions League.

Boyd said on Sky Sports News (12:22 pm, December 2, 2023): “It looks like Ramsdale is going to be moved on anyway, for me. He played for England not so long ago, you can’t be sitting on the bench.

“If you are an England international, you can’t be sitting on the bench. And there is no doubt that David Raya is Arsenal’s number one at this moment in time.”

Aaron Ramsdale should consider Arsenal future
In my view, Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale has to consider his future at the club. Now, I am not saying that he should leave the Gunners for sure in the January transfer window, but at least he needs to look at his options.

Ramsdale is a very good goalkeeper who has proven himself at a top club like Arsenal. The £24 million (The Athletic) star could turn out for another established Premier League team.

Newcastle United could be in need of a top goalkeeper now. Nick Pope has suffered a long-term injury. Ramsdale could easily walk into Eddie Howe’s starting lineup now.
