‘I Will LEAVE AFTER WINNING THE LEAGUE’: £110,000-a-week star player now want to leave Arsenal if he wins Premier League title
Arsenal star could leave the Gunners at the end of the season if he wins the Premier League title, with AS Roma interested, according to CMW.
AS ROMA WANT ARSENAL MIDFIELDER GRANIT XHAKA
The Italian news outlet has claimed that AS Roma want to sign Xhaka from Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Roma head coach Jose Mourinho is reportedly a fan of the 30-year-old.
The Switzerland international midfielder could leave the Gunners if he helps them win the Premier League title this season.
Arsenal are at the top of the Premier League table at the moment with 57 points from 24 matches
Defending champions Manchester City are second with 55 points from 25 games.
According to The Sun journalist Daniel Cutts on Twitter earlier this month, Arsenal want a new contract for Xhaka.
The £110,000-a-week (SalarySport) Swiss midfielder is under contract at the Gunners until the summer of 2024, with Arsenal having the option to extend it by another year.
COULD A SUMMER TRANSFER HAPPEN?
You know what? It is not impossible that Granit Xhaka could leave Arsenal at the end of the season.
If the Gunners win the Premier League title, then Xhaka could feel that he has done his job at the North London club.
The midfielder could end his story with Arsenal on a happy note.
Arsenal themselves could be tempted to let the 30-year-old go for another adventure if they get a decent transfer fee in the summer of 2023.
The Gunners could then invest that money into signing a younger and better midfielder, such as Declan Rice.
