“If Maresca starts him on Sunday, they will beat Liverpool with a wide margin, Most people thinks Palmer is the best their player but for he’s not…Their player is that particular player but unfortunately Enzo Maresca doesn’t know his worth and as a result, he’s not using him”: Pep Gaurdiorla names ONE Chelsea player who’s the best in Premier League, even better than Cole Palmer

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has labelled Jadon Sancho a “special player” after an impressive start to his loan spell at Stamford Bridge.
The winger, who remains contracted to Manchester United despite his well-documented struggles at the club, has registered three assists in four Premier League appearances for Chelsea.
And Maresca has heaped praise on Sancho, backing the England international to be a success with the Blues.
Speaking in his press conference ahead of this weekend’s match against Liverpool, Maresca said: “Jadon is doing well. He needs to continue in the same way; work hard, every day.
“As I’ve said before, for sure he is going to help us. We really believe that he is a special player.
“But the only way for him to confirm that is by working hard every day and never be happy and always be ambitious. He needs to want more and more and more.”
Sancho was limited to just three appearances for United last season after a fall-out with manager Erik ten Hag. A more productive loan spell with Borussia Dortmund came in the second half of the campaign, and he now appears reinvigorated having made the switch to London.
The 24-year-old has spoken positively of his renewed form at Chelsea, after a difficult period following his highly-anticipated £70 million transfer to United.
“I’m happy to have been able to assist for goals in recent games, I’m settling in well here and I just want to keep this momentum going and keep being able to assist my team-mates,” he said last month. “Or even get a first goal, that would be nice!” Sancho has contributed to an encouraging start to the season for Chelsea, who sit fourth in the nascent Premier League table ahead of a trip to leaders Liverpool.
And Maresca, while acknowledging the need for improvement, is pleased with his players in the early stages of the campaign.
“I am very happy because what I expected in terms of players and level and style, I can see clearly that it’s there. I’ve said many times that no matter who is going to play, you can see clearly the way we want to play,” the Italian said.
“For sure there are games that we could do better, but also I think that at this moment it’s normal because we just started two or three months ago.
“But I’m very happy because it’s one of the best clubs in the world and I’m very excited and feel very lucky to spend my time and share my time with this squad. So I’m very happy.”
