‘If no Arsenal then I will go to Saudi’: Agent of 5-time UCL winner ready to plot January move to Arsenal – Arteta have been on His Nerve for long now

The representatives of Real Madrid midfielder
will sound out Arsenal and Manchester United ahead of the January transfer window, according to the Sun.

The 33-year-old is out of contract at the La Liga club next summer and talks over an extension are yet to commence.

If there are no talks with Madrid by Christmas, Kroos could be available as early as the January window and wants to continue playing in the Champions League.

A move to the Premier League could appeal to the German midfielder, and apart from the Gunners and Man United, his agents will also sound out Chelsea, Tottenham and Manchester City.

The veteran midfielder won a Champions League with Bayern Munich and four with Madrid, and his huge experience and quality will come in handy in the Premier League despite already approaching the twilight of his illustrious career.

Kroos has dropped out of Madrid’s starting XI, coming off the bench six times out of the 13 games he has featured in so far in 2023-24.

However, Arsenal or Man United cannot guarantee the World Cup winner a place in their starting XI, neither can any of Chelsea, Spurs or Man City.

Madrid would only seek a nominal fee for Kroos if he looks to move on, which could see suitors jump at a chance to land him in January.

He has been with Los Blancos since 2014, bagging 28 goals and assisting 92 others in 430 games across all competitions.

Kroos has also won three La Liga titles and three Bundesliga titles among 29 major trophies, and both Arsenal and the Red Devils could do with such a perennial winner in their dressing room.

However, whether he will be content with a place on the bench in the Premier League remains to be seen, and his agents may need to look at other clubs or leagues where he can break into the starting XI.
