“I’m ready” – Arsenal is eager to sign Brazil international as he reveals to Arteta his willingness to play at Emirates.
Arsenal have now been tipped to sign Brazilian star Danilo in the January window after he admitted he wants a move to the Premier League.
There is so much hype surrounding Arsenal right now and many people believe that they can challenge for that Premier League title if they add a couple of players to the squad in January.
Mikel Arteta has a world class starting eleven and even a couple of top-class players on the bench but to mount a serious competition against Manchester City will mean that he needs to add a couple more players to the squad and Danilo is a man on the list.
The Gunners wanted to sign Danilo in the Summer window but despite all the hype and all the speculation they were not able to get a deal done for the man and he stayed put at Palmeiras.
But he has been brilliant for the Brazilians once again this season and even earned himself a seat on the plane to Qatar so Arsenal fans may get to see him during this World Cup.
Now amid all the speculation the Gunners have been backed to complete a deal for the star in January.
Journalist Jorge Nicola says Palmeiras may be open to negotiating a deal for Danilo now that the season is over he said via Sport Witness:
“If this proposal is repeated, Palmeiras should end up negotiating for the athlete.”
The reports come after Danilo admitted that he feels ready for the Premier League he told UOL Esporte:
‘I see myself mature enough to be able to play in any competition in the world, I’m ready.’
He continued: ‘I prefer not to get involved with these transfer issues.
‘I told my manager to only talk to me if it’s the right thing. Then, we sit down and talk to Palmeiras and decide what’s best for everyone.’
Look Danilo is a special talent that has potential to go very far in the game but there will be doubters in the media that he is ready for a move to the Premier League and a massive club like Arsenal.
But Edu has done his research and has shown that he signs players that will make a difference and Danilo could make a difference.
