I’m so happy for Him – Neymar reacts as Manchester United star arrives at Carrington to begin 2023/24 season
Man united star has arrived back at Carrington to begin his Manchester United pre-season training.
Brazil international Casemiro is at Carrington to begin his first ever pre-season as a Manchester United player.
Last season he had warmed up at Real Madrid before clinching his shock move to Manchester United two matches into the campaign, with the Red Devils reeling from two opening defeats.
Now he calls Manchester home, and explained in a recent interview in his homeland that he is loving every moment.
Casemiro is back
Casemiro was one of the many international players to arrive back at Carrington on Saturday. Bruno Fernandes and Alejandro Garnacho were among them.
The Brazilian midfielder was sporting a new cropped haircut, and most importantly, a very wide grin on his face, showing how happy he is to be back.
Casemiro’s delighted message elicited a response from Brazil international teammate Neymar, who expressed his affection for the Manchester United star.
Neymar wrote a message which translated to, “Oh my gosh… I love you Case”
Clearly he was thrilled to see the midfielder looking so happy in his current surroundings, as are we.
Neymar admiration for Casemiro
Neymar is a signed up member of the Casemiro fan club, which has increased in numbers since his move to Manchester United, where he has shown he is more than just a destroyer.
After Casemiro scored in Brazil’s World Cup opener, Neymar wrote on social media, per the club website: “Casemiro has been the best midfielder in the world for a long time.”
He’s not wrong. Casemiro has helped to transform Manchester United, and while there is still plenty of work to do, everything is a lot easier when he is in the side.
